Community Mediation

Contemporary Mediation specialises in providing a faciliatative approach to resolving conflict within the Community.

Conflict which arises in Community can be the subject of ;

* neighbour disputes

* Tenant / landlord

* Environmental issues,

* Anti-social behaviour,

* Planning and local amenity

* Parent – Teacher / Student disputes

* Restorative Justice

The Mediation process ensures that all sides are initially heard in a private, confidential safe environment, encouraging the parties through the Mediators neutrality and impartiality to identify the issues which are causing conflict and through self-determination find their own agreement going forward.  The aim is to facilitate the parties in finding agreement which will stand the test of time.

Catherine is a Volunteer Co-Mediator with Dublin Community Mediation. She is a participating member in the sharing and learning group which is held on a monthly basis.

Catherine is available at short notice to mediate in the community as a Co-Mediator.
